John Rhys-Davies (born May 5, 1944) is an actor who played Thor on Fantastic Four and The Incredible Hulk.

Biography[]

He previously played Wilson Fisk in the live action television-movie The Trial of the Incredible Hulk with Lou Ferrigno playing Hulk.

He is also probably well known for his roles as Sallah in the Indiana Jones films Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Maximillian Arturo on Sliders, Macbeth in the Gargoyles franchise, as well as Gimli and Treebeard in The Lord of the Rings series appearing in The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King.
