John Lindley Byrne (born July 6, 1950) is a comic book writer credited with creating characters used on X-Men and X-Men: Evolution.
Biography[]
He is most famous for his work on X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Superman. He wrote the first several issues of Hellboy and has written Star Trek comics numerous times.
He is the co-creator of characters such as Kitty Pryde, Emma Frost, Sabretooth, Shadow King, Scott Lang, Omega Red, and Rachel Summers.
He is also credited for his work on Young Justice, Batman: Assault on Arkham, Justice League: Gods and Monsters, DC Super Hero Girls, Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay, The Death of Superman, Dark Phoenix, and New Warriors.
