James Thomas Kevin Byrnes (born September 22, 1948) is an actor who played Fire Drake on Spider-Man Unlimited and Nick Fury on X-Men: Evolution.
Biography[]
He is most famous for playing Inferno on Beast Wars: Transformers and Thrust on Beast Machines: Transformers, as well as Joe Dawson in the Highlander franchise appearing in Highlander: The Series, Highlander: The Raven, Highlander: Endgame, and Highlander: The Source.
On February 26, 1972, Byrnes was struck by a car while trying to help a stalled truck. The injuries forced his legs to be amputated.
He is also a blues singer. He won the Juno Award for Blues Album of the Year three times.
