Blackwell used his magic to make it appear that the Castle Theatre was haunted which scared away the demolition men. Spider-Man went to investigate the haunting and was captured and held at gunpoint by Boothe. However, Spider-Man was able to break free from his restraints. When he took away Emily and James weapons he discovered that they were only props.
