Biography[]
Beetle tried to steal a crime detection computer from Tony Stark. However, Beetle was stopped by Spider-Man, Iceman and Firestar. Sometime later Tony was kidnapped by the Beetle. However, Tony was rescued by the Spider-Friends. As thanks for saving him, Tony gave the Spider-Friends a variety of computers that the Spider-Friends used to investigate crimes.
Iron Man later went into space and used his repulsor beams to destroy asteroids before they could hit the Earth.
Background[]
Iron Man was voiced by William H. Marshall on Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends. On Spider-Man he only appeared as an in-universe cartoon character and was unvoiced.
Iron Man's voice was dubbed over by Tyler More in the Marvel Mash-Up shorts.
In the Comics[]
Tony Stark was injured and captured in Vietnam. Then he was held captured by a man named Wong Chu.
First built a large grey armor with fellow prisoner Ho Yinsen to escape and then fight crime. Subsequent versions include a gold version of the same armor and a foldable version that could fit in a briefcase.
Is one of the founding members of the Avengers along with Thor, Ant-Man, Wasp, and Hulk. After Namor found Captain America's frozen body, Iron Man helped unfreeze him.
