The Iron Avengers were a group of robots designed by Tony Stark and modeled after the original Avengers.

History[]
They battled Ultron but became the robot's puppets. They were then destroyed by the reformed Avengers, the children of the originals.

In the Comics[]
The Iron Avengers were built in the Earth X universe, where all of Earth's population developed powers when anyone who didn't already have powers became Inhumans.
They were built by Iron Man after the deaths of all the Avengers besides Captain America, Thor, the aforementioned Iron Man, Hulk, Vision, and Black Panther.
Vision led the robots who were Sting (based on Wasp), Monolith (based on Giant Man), Bolt (based on Quicksilver), Crimson Sage (based on Scarlet Witch), Steelbow (based on Hawkeye), and Tank. They are given the memories and personalities of those they are based on.
The Iron Avengers were helping Thor (who had been transformed into a woman after Odin was convinced to teach him another lesson in humility) when Loki tried to trick her into returning to Asgard where she would be unable to return to Earth.
