The man known only as Iceberg is a crime lord based out of New York City known for temporarily working for Kingpin.
Biography[]
Nothing is known about Iceberg's early life. At some point of his life his genes were tinkered with, which caused him to gain superhuman strength and durability, but he also got blue hair and very pale skin, as well as affinity to cold environments.
Later Iceberg somehow became a powerful crime boss who initially worked under Kingpin, who eventually found him too hard to control, causing him to fire Iceberg. Because of this he became independent crime boss who had his own gang. He hired several thugs including Hobie Brown to commit petty robberies, but discovered that Hobie had been taking some of the valuables for himself and planned to overthrow him. Iceberg trapped Hobie in the block of ice and then ordered his men to dispose of him, but Hobie escaped, stealing one of Iceberg's freezing guns in the process.
Hobie was, thanks to Spider-Man, eventually imprisoned in Rooker's Island, where he saved Richard Fisk from an attempt on his life. Richard's father, Wilson Fisk alias "The Kingpin", in turn engineered Hobie's release. Kingpin, who had recently been considering that Iceberg had become too powerful, planned to use Hobie to overthrow him. He gave Hobie a stealth battle-suit, and Hobie dubbed himself "The Prowler". Hobbie defeated Iceberg and put him to work as his manservant. This is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
