The woman known only as Hypnotia is a supervillain and member of The Hand.

Biography

Little is known about the early history of Hypnotia.

At some point she joined The Hand under the leadership of Mandarin along with MODOK, Dreadknight, Blizzard, Blacklash, Grey Gargoyle, Whirlwind, Living Laser, and Justin Hammer. Together they fought Force Works and tried to steal technology from Stark Enterprises. Being the only woman on the team, she was the object of affection for both Dreadknight and Blacklash though she was more interested in Tony Stark.

When Mandarin apparently died, she and the rest of the team went their separate ways. She rejoined the team when Mandarin returned but they were defeated once and for all by the reunited Force Works.

Powers and Abilities

Hypnotia has the power of hypnosis. She is able to instantly hypnotize her opponents. Her ability seems to come from both her eyes and her voice, as she was able to use a recording to hypnotize people.

Background

Hypnotia was voiced by Linda Holdahl in season one and Jennifer Darling in season two.

Hypnotia was created specifically for the series. She seems partially based off of Vertigo.
