Biography[]
Henry Smythe read J. Jonah Jameson's anti-Spider-Man editorials and built a robot called the Spider-Slayer to capture the Wall-Crawler. When Smythe showed Jameson the Spider-Slayer, he used it to go after Spider-Man. However, Spider-Man was able to damage the Spider-Slayers circuitry which forced Smythe to go "back to the drawing board".
