- Helicarrier is from the Non MAU video Ultimate Avengers.
A helicarrier is a large flying vehicle used by S.H.I.E.L.D..
Technology[]
![]() |
The Helicarrier vaguely resembles an aircraft carrier since the top is flat and contains jets that can launch from it. Large jets on the side help it fly. It can land in the water.
It is apparently a powerful ship used prominently in battles.
History[]
The early history of the helicarrier is largely unknown.
It possibly designed and/or built by Stark Enterprises along with several other weapons and designs provided for S.H.I.E.L.D.
The aircraft landed when Captain America first reawakened. It shocked him into stopping his escape from S.H.I.E.L.D.
When the Chitauri attacked the Triskelion, the helicarrier flew off to intercept the three Chitauri ships. The ships overpowered the helicarrier and heavily damaged it. The ship crashed into the ocean.
It is unknown but likely the ship was repaired and put back into service.
Background[]
The design is closer to the original 616 version than the Ultimate universe, which is closer to an aircraft carrier.
The blueprint for the Helicarrier was seen in The Invincible Iron Man.
In the Comics[]
There are actually several Helicarriers, though only one is seen at a time in Ultimate Avengers.
Hank Pym was the one who designed it and Tony Stark helped build it.
