Biography[]
Harley Clivendon sent J. Jonah Jameson a small statue. The statue had built in machines that placed Jameson in a hypnotic trance. While in a trance, Clivendon would have Jameson give him all of his money. Clivendon was later stopped by Spider-Man.
When Clivendon learned that Curt Conner had found the Fountain of Youth, he went to Florida to find it. However, Spider-Man had also gone to Florida to search for Dr. Conner who had gone missing. Clivendon found Dr. Conner at a Spanish fort and fought Spider-Man. Spider-Man was able to defeat Clivendon and rescue Conner.

Harley Clivendon was created as a stand-in for Kraven the Hunter since the rights to Kraven were licensed to Grantray-Lawrence Animation who were using him The Marvel Super Heroes.
