The Hardy Estate is a large estate outside of New York City.
History[]
John Hardesky was an expert cat burglar who stole a great amount of money. He married a woman named Anastasia and they had a child named Felicia. John gave himself up to S.H.I.E.L.D. for imprisonment leaving Anastasia and Felicia alone. Anastasia changed their last name to Hardy and tried to legitimatize their stolen fortune. She set up the Hardy Foundation and bought the estate.
Knowing John had enemies and others would try to blackmail her, Anastasia hired a group of security guards and had the fence under constant surveillance.
Peter Parker commented that the estate was bigger than Central Park and his Aunt May's entire house could fit in their entryway.
Doctor Octopus invaded the estate several times. The first to kidnap Felicia and the other to blackmail Anastasia.
Felicia lived on the estate for most of her life but did get an apartment in the city.
Felicia's fiance, Jason Philips, had a large estate that he coincidentally also purchased with stolen money from his time as Hobgoblin.
Background[]
The estate is original to Spider-Man. In the comics, Felicia is a cat burglar but not rich socialite and therefore has no giant mansion and estate.
