The first version of the character outside the comics.
While there have been several Green Goblins in the comics, at the time Spider-Man was produced Norman Osborn was the only Green Goblin. The real name of this Green Goblin was never revealed but it was obviously meant to be Norman Osborn.
In the comics[]
Norman Osborn became the Green Goblin after breathing an experimental gas that gave him super-strength.
This version of Green Goblin has an obsession with black magic, while the comic book version does not.
