Little is known about the early life of Gorgon.
He was in the Great Refuge when Maximus overthrew Black Bolt and took over the Inhumans. When Human Torch followed Medusa to the Great Refuge, Gorgon fought the hero.
When the Refuge was trapped, he kept using his powers to break the barrier but was unable to. Eventually Black Bolt used his voice to break the barrier. Gorgon was happy to be free and the Inhumans went to a new home.
