Godzilla, otherwise known as Gojira, is a fictional monster movie character.
History[]
Godzilla is the main character in a series of movies made in Japan. The character is a giant lizard, portrayed as tall as skyscrapers, with rows of spikes down his back. He can also fire powerful blasts of energy from his mouth.
In some instances, he is a villain destroying everything in his way, while in others he is a hero fighting other monsters on behalf of humanity.
He has crossed over with other well known monsters such as King Kong and Rodan.
Mister Fantastic was aware of the character. He used footage of one such film, along with footage of Rodan and Frankenstein's Monster, to trick the Skrulls that these creatures were real and capable of defending Earth from any invasion. The Skrulls were successfully tricked and fled.
Background[]
Godzilla was shown but not named.
Godzilla is colored green in the series. In most of his depictions, he is actually charcoal-grey. He is only green in the Marvel Comics series, 1978 series, Godzilla 2000, and Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. Frankenstein's Monster suffers from the same misconception.

He has had several rampages on the United States, usually to fight another monster.
Hank Pym used Pym Particles to shrink Godzilla down to the size of a normal lizard where he was brought to New York City. After a fight with a sewer rat, the particles wore off and he returned to normal size. The Fantastic Four captured him and tried to send him back to prehistoric times, but the radiation in his body sent him to a parallel universe. He returned and the Fantastic Four teamed up with the Avengers to try to stop him, but failed. He eventually left the city on his own.
A scientist forced Godzilla to fight the West Coast Avengers. Iron Man led him out to the ocean but was forced to abandon his armor. Godzilla brought the armor back for the scientist. He eventually escaped the scientist's control and left. Thing just happened to be on a nearby island watching.
