Gambit's memory of Ghost Rider

At some point he countered Gambit in some way. The X-Men saw a brief glimpse of this encounter when they were trying to retrieve memories of Henry Peter Gyrich after Robert Kelly was kidnapped by Sentinels.

The Ghost Rider was called to New York City in order to help the Fantastic Four and Thor defeat Galactus, who once again threatened to feed upon Earth. Using his Penance Stare, Ghost Rider stopped the giant by making him see his sins and overpowered him with the guilt of the billions of lives he had destroyed.

Ghost Rider vs. Hulk.

Upon hearing that the Hulk had destroyed a village, Ghost Rider began tracking the mighty brute. Originally ignoring Rick Jones’ pleas of the Hulk’s innocence, Ghost Rider fought the giant before realizing that the innocent blood was Bruce Banner’s, and that he could not destroy the Hulk for his crimes.

Unfortunately Major Glenn Talbot had poisoned the Hulk. Ghost Rider used his Penance Stare to make Talbot see the error of his Hulk hunting ways. Then he, Jones, Doc Samson, and Betty Ross had to make the poisoned Hulk angrier than he had ever been, in order to burn the poison from out his system. Samson and Ghost Rider attacked him while Jones and Ross pretended not to like him anymore. It worked but Hulk thought that no body liked him and left. They all felt sorry but knew it they had saved his life.

Background

Ghost Rider was voiced by Richard Grieco in both of his speaking appearances. His appearance in X-Men was a "blink and you miss it" cameo.

Ghost Rider is never named in either series. However, his design is based on the Daniel Ketch version who was the Ghost Rider character in the comics at the time.

"Innocent Blood" was intended as a backdoor pilot for a Ghost Rider spin-off. Obviously a Ghost Rider series was not picked up.

Ghost Rider was planned to appear in a subsequent episode of Spider-Man that was never made. In the proposed episode, Mysterio would have found the Time Dilation Accelerator and used it to rob banks. During his travels he would have encountered Dormammu and the two would have teamed up. Ghost Rider would have appeared and together with Spider-Man would have stopped Mysterio and Dormammu. However, Ghost Rider would be unavailable due to his appearance on a UPN series. And Mysterio supposedly died in the fifth season episode "The Haunting Of Mary Jane".
