Galactus is a cosmic being that devours life energy from planets.
Biography[]
When Silver Surfer found Earth, he signaled Galactus who arrived on the planet to devour its life energy. The Fantastic Four then fought Galactus but was not able to harm him. Uatu then sent Human Torch to find the Ultimate Nullifier, which was the only weapon that could destroy Galactus. Silver Surfer then turned against Galactus and fought him to save Earth. A short time later Human Torch returned with the Ultimate Nullifier and Mister Fantastic threatened to use it on him unless he left Earth alone. Galactus then returned to the cosmos.

Galactus was voiced by Ted Cassidy.

In the Comics[]
Galactus is Caucasian with blue and purple armor, while in Fantastic Four he has green skin and green armor.
Galactus is several stories tall while this version is only a few feet taller than the members of the Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer. However, this is possibly due to the limitations of cartoon animation at the time.
