Biography[]
Fred Davis, Jr. and Captain America sat down for an interview with M.O.D.O.K.. When Davis began to reveal some crude things the pair had done in their past, Captain America tackled him to shut him up. ("M.O.D.O.K.'s M.O.M.E.N.T.S.")

In the Comics[]
In 1942 Fred Davis was a bat-boy for the New York Yankees. He once helped James Barnes, the original Bucky, defeat the Red Skull. In 1945, after the supposed death of Steve Rogers and James Barnes, President Harry Truman asked William Nasland, the hero known as the Spirit of '76 to assume the identity of Captain America and for Fred to operate alongside him as the new Bucky. Davis also joined a group of heroes called the Young Allies. After World War II Davis became partners to the third Captain America Jeffrey Mace. Fred Davis, Jr. was later killed by an assassin named Leonid Novokov.
