Biography[]

Otto and a man named Cyrus Flintridge knew each other from symphony orchestra. Otto played second fiddle with the orchestra. However, Flintridge left the orchestra and helped in the rise of popularity in rock 'n' roll music. Otto felt the rock 'n' roll was making classical music less popular and wanted revenge on Flintridge.

Otto, now going by the Fiddler, built an electronic violin that created a devastating sonic sound when played. Fiddler contacted Flintridge and told him that unless he was pain $100,000 he would kill him. Fiddler planned on using the money to build a conservatory to return classical music to its former glory.

When Flinyridge went to drop off the money, Spider-Man showed up and tried to catch the Fiddler. Fiddler was able to use the shock waves from his violin to defeat Spider-Man. However, during Spider-Man and Fiddler's fight, Flintridge escaped with the money.

Fiddler later contacted Flintridge and told him that he was upping the price to $500,000. If Flintridge refuses, Fiddler was going to use his sonic fiddler to reduce the rock 'n' roll conservatory, which was owned by Flintridge, to rubble. Spider-Man fought the Fiddler at the conservatory and captured him.
