- For the video see Hulk vs Wolverine.
For the second time, Wolverine is tasked with finding and taking down the Hulk. But both heroes find that there's more to this situation than what Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. is telling them.
Wolverine tracks him down to Canada and faces off against his old foe. After some fighting and later some talking, they realize that they are out there to face off against the Wendigo. As the two search for a cure to the Wendigo's transformations, they realize Fury is behind them in the first place.
The two cure the S.H.I.E.L.D. soldiers. When Fury comes to them, Wolverine punches Bruce Banner so he transforms into Hulk. Hulk punches Wolverine away. The X-Man smiles knowing that it's just Fury and Hulk now.
- There are many inconsistencies between this episode and Hulk vs Wolverine that are apparent in the flashbacks, such as Wolverine's costume and the fight itself.
- The direct-to-DVD feature Hulk vs Wolverine is a loose prequel to this episode.
- Wolverine shoves a grenade into Hulk's mouth to knock him out. He may have learned this trick from Deadpool who did the same thing during Hulk vs Wolverine. Though Deadpool's efforts did not work, which may be why Wolverine used gas instead of fragmentation.
The episode was in development when the production staff began making Hulk vs Wolverine. They then decided to incorporate elements from the episode into the video so that it would serve as a prequel.
