This is the final appearance of Galactus on the show, as he would later be a central character in Silver Surfer.
Thor previously made an appearance on "To Battle the Living Planet"
Ghost Rider would later appear in Incredible Hulk episode "Innocent Blood" which would serve as a backdoor pilot.

Background[]

The title comes from Fantastic Four #74. The comic has almost no similarities with the episode and features Galactus wanting Silver Surfer back as his herald.
