The Watcher explores a universe where the evil robot Ultron was successful in building a vibranium body for himself and uses it to take over the world. Things become complicated when Ultron takes the Infinity Stones, destroys the entire universe, then sets his sights on the Watcher himself.

Ashley Bradley and Matthew Chauncey had pitched a crossover with the Star Wars franchise, which is also owned by The Walt Disney Company and whose comics are now made by Marvel Comics. However, they were turned down. Though this episode does feature Uatu and Ultron battling on Mustafar, with Darth Vader's castle seen in the distance, and Felucia.
