Norman Osborn returns as the Green Goblin. The Spider-Friends attend a costume party at campus. Peter as Spider-Man, Angelica as Spider-Woman, Bobby as Captain America and Mona as Medusa. The Green Goblin captures Spider-Man. Firestar saves him. Bobby & Mona are walking on campus when the Green Goblin takes her off.
At the abandoned hideout, the Green Goblin attempts to make Mona drink the potion but is interupted by Spider-Man. Green Goblin tricks him into a room filled with all kinds of traps including a hot & oil slicked wall, sleeping gas and the jaws of death.
Spider-Man frees himself and find where Mona is being held and rids Green Goblin of the Goblin serum. Goblin takes off heading to the water supply and Spider-Man spits a line out and travels behind him through out the city. Spider-Man eventually gets a hold of the Goblin but falls off heading toward Central Park.
Iceman seeing his friend falling creates an ice sled for him to slide in on. A police man sees this and starts to complain about it but Firestar quickly melts it. At the fountain, the Spider-Friends think of where the Green Goblin is going to put the serum and find out it's the resevoir. They head out and meet up with the Goblin again. Spider-Man takes the Goblin and Iceman and Firestar go to the resevoir.
Green Goblin heads off and Spider-Man distracts him long enough to head him towards some power lines. Meanwhile, Iceman freezes the resevoir and Firestar dives down to find the formula. She flies around the frozen serum and brings it up to the surface while Iceman goes to the Police helicopter. The helicopter arrives and Iceman hooks it to the line where Firestar unfreezes it and it goes down the drainage sewer. Spider-Man discovers that Green Goblin has transformed back to Norman Osborn. Norman commits himself back to the sanitarium.
Back at their apartment, Mona is retelling the story of how Spider-Man saved her. Bobby doesn't seem too impressed and Aunt May doesn't like Spider-Man. Angelica asks Ms. Lion what her opinion is and she hops over to Peter and licks him.
