After Eddie Brock is separated from the Venom symbiote, Spider-Man must decide between saving Eddie's life or reforming one of his worst enemies.

Trivia[]
Goofs[]
- This episode creates a number of inconsistencies between Spider-Man and Spider-Man Unlimited. In the previous series Venom was separated and Eddie was held in the Ravencroft Asylum for the Criminally Insane with Cletus Kasady. Dormammu and Baron Mordo got Venom recreated and led the Carnage Symbiote to Kasady where Carnage formed. Though such inconsistencies could be due to memory problems.
- Spider-Man's flashbacks to Venom and Carnage's origins show both symbiotes with their current looks and powers. Except that "Worlds Apart" clearly states both were new. Though this could be attributed to Spider-Man's memories being clouded by his recent experiences.
Continuity[]
Background[]
The title for the episode comes from the Harry Nilsson song. Appropriately, the song was used in the first trailer of the film Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Carnage's feature film debut which also featured Eddie and the symbiote being separated temporarily.
In proposed stories for the unmade second season, Venom and Carnage would once again merge this time calling themselves King Carnage[1]
