• The last episode of the Marvel Animated Universe, which began with X-Men and "Night of the Sentinels, Part One".
• Silver Surfer, Spider-Man Unlimited, The Avengers: United They Stand, and Spider-Man: The New Animated Series were all cancelled after their first season, and all with just thirteen episodes. All of these series, except for Avengers, ended on a cliffhanger that was to be followed up but wasn't.
