Ego is a living planet and a celestial.
Biography[]
Ego had a son named Peter Quill by a human woman. In 1988, Ego hired Yondu to retrieve Peter from Earth and deliver his son to him. However, the Ravagers accidentally took T'Challa instead.
Twenty years later Ego approached an adult Peter Quill who was working at a Dairy Queen and introduced himself. Ego was planning to use Peter to expand his consciousness to other planets. This process, known as the "Expansion", would have destroyed all life on Earth. It is unknown if Ego succeeded.

Ego is voiced by Kurt Russell who reprised his role from the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
