Doctor Octopus is a brilliant scientist with four powerful mechanical arms bonded to his body and controlled with his mind.
Biography[]
Spider-Man accidentally stumbled upon Doctor Octopus's hideout and was captured by him. Doctor Octopus informed Spider-Man that he was planning to set off multiple explosives to destroy a section of New York City. However, Spider-Man was able to escape and defeat Doctor Octopus.
Doctor Octopus later stole a missile called the Nullifier from Dr. Smartyr. With the Nullifier in his possession, Doctor Octopus declared himself the Master of Space and declared that no one would send a rocket into orbit without paying him first, or else he would shoot down the rocket with the Nullifier. However, Spider-Man was able to defeat Doctor Octopus and recover the Nullifier.

Doctor Octopus was voiced by Vernon Chapman in "The Power of Dr. Octopus" and by Tom Harvey in "The Terrible Triumph of Dr. Octopus".
This is the first version of the character outside the comics.

His real name is Otto Octavius.
His metal arms were welded to his spine in a lab explosion.
