Disney+ is a streaming service from The Walt Disney Company. It airs What If...?, I Am Groot, and Baymax!, and will air the upcoming series Eyes of Wakanda, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Marvel Zombies, and the X-Men revival X-Men '97.
History[]
The service streams content from Disney and Disney-owned companies including Marvel Entertainment, Pixar Animation Studios, Lucasfilm, and 21st Century Fox.
The service debuted in the United States, Canada, and Netherlands on November 12th, 2019 while it will launch in Australia and New Zealand a week later on November 19th.[1]
The service will also stream Spider-Woman, Spider-Man, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, X-Men, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man Unlimited, The Avengers: United They Stand, X-Men: Evolution, Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes, Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Wolverine and the X-Men, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Ultimate Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., Big Hero 6, Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United, Rocket & Groot, Spider-Man, Big Hero 6: The Series, Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors, Marvel Super Hero Adventures, Ant-Man, and Marvel Rising: Initiation.[2]
Marvel Super Hero Adventures: Frost Fight! was rumored but did not appear when the service launched.[3] However, it was later added to the service in February 2022.
In February of 2020, the service added Marvel Rising: Operation Shuri, Marvel Rising: Playing with Fire, and Marvel Future Avengers.[4]
