The Destroyer is a powerful Asgardian suit of armor.
Biography[]
Hundreds of years ago the Destroyer was sent to a jungle on Earth by Odin who trapped it inside the Temple of Darkness. There the Destroyer encountered the indigenous people of the area. Over the centuries stories of the Destroyer from the indigenous people spread causing the Destroyer to become an urban legend on Earth.
In the present, Loki discovered the temple and had a human enter the Temple of Darkness. When the human got close to the Destroyer, his life energy was drained into the Destroyer which awakened it. Thor quickly found the Destroyer and fought it. However, Thor was able to cause the human's spirit to leave the Destroyer and return to his own body. This caused the Destroyer to shut down.
