The Days of Future Past was a possible future where humans and mutants were driven to extinction.
History[]
Following the death of Robert Kelly by Mystique, Gambit was blamed. Humans passed anti-mutant legislation. Sentinels put the mutants into camps before taking over the humans as well. Eventually Bishop went back in time to to stop Kelly's death. When he returned to the future he found it replaced with the Legacy Virus Future.
Background[]
First adaptation of the universe outside the comics.
This is the first time that Bishop has been associated with this universe. He originally came from another similar universe titled Forever Yesterday. This change was kept for Wolverine and the X-Men and the film X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Marvel Handbook lists this version as Earth-31393 in the Marvel Multiverse.
The name Days of Future Past is not used.
In the Comics[]
Rachel Summers is originally from this universe.
Professor X and Moira MacTaggert were killed in addition to Kelly. This is alluded to when Xavier suggests he could be the target.
The Sentinels eventually killed others with superpowers including the Fantastic Four and Avengers. They were headquartered out of the Baxter Building.
After taking over North America, the rest of the planet threatened nuclear war with the Sentinels if they ever moved outside the continent. The robots decided to do it anyways.
The only surviving X-Men members, at the time the comic first premiered, were Kate Pryde, Wolverine, Storm, and Colossus.
In the year 2013, Rachel used her powers to send Kate into the body of her younger self back to 1980. Logan, Ororo, and Piotr were killed defending the two.
