David Hemblen (born September 16, 1941; died November 16, 2020) is an actor who played Magneto on X-Men as well as Husserl and Supreme Intelligence on Silver Surfer.
Biography[]
He reprised the role of Magneto for the video games X-Men: Mutant Academy and X-Men: Mutant Academy 2.
Hemblen auditioned for and was considered for the role of Magneto for the first live-action X-Men film. However, Hemblen was busy filming Earth: Final Conflict and unable to join the cast. The role went to Ian McKellen.
