Darkon is a dragon-like demon that serves Mordred.
Biography[]
Thousands of years ago the Black Knight banished Mordred to the Land of Shades. Upon Mordred's defeat Darkon was turned into a stone state and was buried underground. However, Mordred had placed a spell on Darkon which would reanimate him when he is hit by the light of a full mooon. Mordred's plan was to have Darkon bring him Black Knights enchanted sword the Ebony Blade so he could use its power to escape the Land of shades.
In the present Darkon was discovered by archaeologist and brought to Eastern State University. When Darkon was exposed to moonlight it revived him. Black Knight and the Spider-Friends attempted to stop Darkon from stealing the Ebony Blade but failed. Darkon then used the magic of the Ebony Blade to travel to the Land of Shades.
Mordred road on the back of Darkon when he attempted to invade Earth with his demon army. However, Black Knight used the Merlin Medallion to send Mordred back to the Land of Shades. Without Mordred's magic Darkon transformed back into a stone statue and fell to the ground and shattered.
