Piotr Rasputin, also known as Colossus, is a Russian mutant.
Biography
Piotr was born and raised when Russia was still the Soviet Union. He lived under tyrants until the USSR's fall.
He discovered his mutant powers when he saved his sister Illyana from a runaway tractor.
He went to the United States of America where he met the X-Men. They thought he destroyed the Xavier Mansion until they found Juggernaut.
While in Russia, former Soviets released Omega Red who began taking over the country. He sought out the X-Men for their help. However, he only found Jubilee who agreed to help. They left but were followed by Wolverine and Storm. Together they managed to stop Omega Red.

In a future devastated by the Legacy Virus, Colossus was at his sister's side when she was dying.
Age of Apocalypse
In the Age of Apocalypse, Colossus was a member of the X-Men formed under Magneto.
