The Christopher Yost Animated Universe is a series of animated television shows and animated films that share the same continuity. All of the animated series were adapted from Marvel Comics properties.

The universe is comprised of Wolverine and the X-Men, Hulk Vs (comprised of Hulk vs Wolverine and Hulk vs Thor), The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and Thor: Tales of Asgard. It began on September 6, 2008 with "Hindsight, Part One" and ended on June 28, 2012 with "Avengers Assemble!".

This universe was named so because writer Christopher Yost is a prominent figure in Wolverine, Hulk, and Avengers though he had no involvement in Thor.

It was originally intended that the Avengers episode "Along Came a Spider..." would be a tie-in to The Spectacular Spider-Man.[1] Josh Keaton recorded the lines for the episode. However, by that time Spectacular had been cancelled and Ultimate Spider-Man was in production. The latter series' titular actor Drake Bell then rerecorded the lines replacing Keaton. Yost called the episode a Spectacular episode at heart.[2] Ultimately, neither series would tie into this universe.

This is the fourth animated universe spanning multiple series and/or videos after the Marvel Productions Universe, Marvel Animated Universe, and Ultimate Avengers Universe. It was replaced with the Marvel Animation Universe.
