Christopher Jay Potter (born August 23, 1960) is a Canadian actor who played Gambit on X-Men and Spider-Man. A. J. LoCascio replaced Potter as the voice of Gambit on X-Men '97 and Potter will now be voicing Cable taking over the role from Lawrence Bayne.
Biography[]
Potter actually auditioned for the first X-Men film, which did feature his co-star George Buza. He wanted to play Gambit once again feeling he had the right look and was at the right age. However, they had him audition for Cyclops who he did not want to play. He does remember briefly seeing director Bryan Singer thinking he was some fifteen year-old kid who was lost.[1]
