This Carnage Symbiote is a symbiote from an unknown alternate universe just like its main universe counterpart. It traveled to an alternate universe where it attached itself to that universe's Spider-Man to form Spider-Carnage.
Biography[]
The history of the symbiote is unknown.
At some point, it came out of a portal and bonded to Spider-Man, who was enraged at supposedly being a clone of Scarlet Spider rather than the original. That hatred formed Spider-Carnage.
He teamed up with that universe's Kingpin, Alistair Smythe, Green Goblin, and Hobgoblin to take over the world. He devastated New York City. He then built a bomb capable of destroying the entire Multiverse.
However, he was stopped by a group of alternate versions of himself known as the Spider-Men. He fled to another universe where he planned to destroy each dimension one-by-one. However, the lead Spider-Man followed and brought that universe's Uncle Ben with him. Ben reminded Peter that "with great power comes great responsibility." Peter fought against the Carnage symbiote, but the alien was too strong. He eventually threw himself into a portal killing himself and the symbiote.
Background[]
On Spider-Man, it is implied that this is the same Carnage symbiote that bonded to Cletus Kasady to form Carnage. However, since that character would reappear on Spider-Man Unlimited with his symbiote that would mean this is a completely separate symbiote.
