Captain America and the Avengers was a planned but ultimately unproduced series.
Background[]
In 1990 Flint Dille worked with Stan Lee to develop a series called Captain America and the Avengers to sell to ABC. However, the network felt there wasn't a market for it and passed on the pitch.
The following year Dille worked with Marvel Productions as a story editor for the second season of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.[1]
