Brian Michael Bendis (born August 18, 1967) is an American comic book writer. He was a writer and executive producer on Spider-Man: The New Animated Series, a writer and consulting producer for Ultimate Spider-Man, a writer on Spider-Woman: Agent of S.W.O.R.D., and an executive producer on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. On Marvel Super Heroes: What The--?!, Bendis voiced A.I.M. Agent 139 in the episode "The Problem With Pirates..." and made brief cameos as himself in some episodes.

He is most famous for starting the Ultimate Marvel comic book line with Ultimate Spider-Man, upon which the two series he worked on were based.

Brian Michael Bendis is the co-creator of Miles Morales. In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse a shot of Miles Morales' cellphone shows that he has a B. Bendis in his contacts.
