Tabitha Smith, also known by the codename Boom Boom, is a mutant. She is a former member of both the New Mutants, a subgroup of the X-Men, and the Brotherhood of Mutants.
Biography[]

Tabitha had a troubled past with her criminal father. He took advantage of her mutant abilities to commit crimes. She found her way out with Charles Xavier as a member of the New Mutants, a younger generation of mutants who would be trained to help and possibly replace the X-Men. Tabitha took a flirty and friendly relationship with Nightcrawler. During a training exercise, she was told of her turn by Wolverine, and indirectly revealed that she was not in possession of her comlink, instead having a CD player. As she descended to the pretending to be unconscious Nightcrawler, she flirted with him and was given a reprimanding by him for not having strapped him in. Once she began to get bold, she used her powers in an attempt to get even with him, though only managed to make him fall to the ocean while unconscious for real. Wolverine jumped into the river and saved him, after which the two were given a grounding by Charles for having been behind his near death and for their abundant disregard for their own safety.
While at school, she interacted with Kurt once he approached her and took his book as well. Once she returned it after class, he saw the different markings she had put on it. Tabitha had some interactions with Lance as well, particularly after she used her powers to get some sodas out of a vending machine. Once returning home, she learned her father was trying to get her back, and talked to him privately. She related that she was not interested in being used again.
She broke into Mystique's room using her powers and moved in. She then played pranks on the other members. She eventually left when Mystique returned. She tried to warn the X-Men of Mystique's plans but failed.
Powers and Abilities[]
Boom Boom is able to create energy bombs. the more time and energy she spends on them the bigger and more powerful they are.
Personality[]
Boom Boom is a rebelous annd carefree girl. She likes to have fun and play pranks. But underneath she can be serious and caring.
