Black Panther was a mini-series that ran from January 16th to January 30th in 2010. It is the first to focus on the character of Black Panther.

Similar to The Marvel Super Heroes, the series was a motion comic produced by Marvel Knights Animation, their only motion comics series to be released as a series. It was based on the first six issues of the fourth volume of Black Panther subtitled Who is Black Panther?. The events were directly translated by Reginald Hudlin writing and used the artwork of John Romtia, Jr..

After T'Chaka is asassinated, his son T'Challa takes the mantle of Black Panther and throne of Wakanda to find his father's killer. He encounters villains such as Klaw, Batroc the Leaper, Juggernaut, Black Knight, and Radioactive Man. [1]

Nolan North reprises his role as Cyclops from Wolverine and the X-Men.

Hounsou, Stan Lee, Alfre Woodard, and Adrian Pasdar would all appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Juggernaut is used instead of Rhino from the original comics for unknown reasons.

The series was a six-episode mini-series. No episode had any titles as producer Cort Lane didn't think the short series needed individual titles.[3]
