Biography[]
Centuries ago Black Knight used his enchanted Ebony Blade to banish the evil Mordred to another dimension called the Land of Shades. Black Knight eventually passed away. However, Merlin placed an enchantment on the Ebony Blade that would resurrect Black Knight if Mordred were to ever return.
Centuries later Mordred did return and the magic of the Ebony Blade resurrected the Black Knight just as Merlin wanted. Black Knight was soon attacked by a demon named Darkon. As Black Knight fought Darkon he was joined by the Spider-Friends. However, Darkon was able to get the Ebony Blade and took it to Mordred. Mordred intended to use the magic of the Ebony Blade to escape the Land of Shades and lead his demon army to Earth.
By using a magical object called the Merlin Medallion, Black Knight was able to teleport himself and the Spider-Friends to the Land of Shades. Mordred made his way to Earth where he was confronted by the Spider-Friends and the Black Knight. Black Knight then used to the Merlin Medallion to banish Mordred back to the Land of Shades. With Mordred defeated Black Knight magically vanished.

This is the first version of Black Knight which is based on Sir Percy of Scandia to be seen outside the comics.
