Biography[]
Beetle tried to steal a crime-detection computer from Tony Stark because it would have made his armor more powerful than ever. Unfortunately for him, Spider-Man had teamed up with Iceman and Firestar to form the Spider-Friends. Beetle later tried to destroy the main headquarters of Stark International but he was stopped by the Spider-Friends.

First version of the character outside the comics.
This version of Beetle made a cameo appearance in the episode "The Lizard" from Ultimate Spider-Man. He appeared in one of Spider-Man's fantasies.
Beetle was featured in the Marvel Mash-Up shorts that aired on Disney XD.
