Beetle is from the Non MAU series Ultimate Spider-Man.

The man known only as Beetle is an exceptionally skilled mercenary.

At an unknown point in the past, Beetle met his first defeat at hands of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson.

Beetle was hired to kill J. Jonah Jameson. S.H.I.E.L.D. had Spider-Man, White Tiger, Power Man, Iron Fist, and Nova stop him.

Beetle tried to get his revenge on Coulson when this one was on a date with May Parker. When Spider-Man intervened, Beetle took May as a hostage. Finally, Coulson and Spider-Man defeated Beetle with some help of May.

He later joined the Sinister Six.
