Ariel is a woman from the year 2593.
Biography[]
Ariel and her brother Bartow are from the year 2593. After their spaceship was attacked by a Nebu-Crab they accidentally entered a time field and travel back in time to the 20th century. After crashing on Earth they were discovered by Peter Parker who witnessed their ship crash and was investigating. However, Doctor Octopus was nearby and overheard them talking about their ship and learned it could travel through time. Doctor Octopus planned to steal their ship so he could use its time travel capabilities to commit crimes. Doctor Octopus attempted to steal the ship. However, the Spider-Friends arrived and were able to chase him off.
Spider-Man instantly fell for Ariel. Ariel read Spider-Man's mind and learned that he was really Peter Parker. Ariel fell for Peter as well. As Peter removed his mask Ariel kissed him. The Spider-Friends then helped Ariel and Bartow get the items they needed to repair their ship. However, when Ariel, Bartow and the Spider-Friends got back to the crash site they learned that the ship had been stolen by Doctor Octopus. Doctor Octopus ordered that they be given to him or else he would destroy the ship and Ariel and Bartow would never be able to return to their time. As added insurance that he was given what he wanted, Doctor Octopus kidnapped Bartow. As Spider-Man followed Doctor Octopus, Ariel fainted. Iceman and Firestar realized that Ariel had a fever and something was making her sick. Iceman and Firestar took Ariel to the hospital. After running some tests on Ariel her doctors told Iceman and Firestar that Ariel had no white blood cells to fight infections and that the tiniest germ on Earth could kill her. It was also discovered that the reason Ariel didn't have white blood cells was because in the year 2593 all diseases had been eradicated and the people from that time evolved to where they no longer had white blood cells.
As the space ship's repairs were finished Peter decided to go to 2593 with Ariel because he loved her. However, upon reaching Earth of 2593 Ariel and Bartow's father contacted their ship and told them that Peter could not stay in their time because his body contained multiple germs that future humans were not immune to. Ariel and Bartow's father then transported Peter back to his own time.
