Biography

Vanko (MSH)

Anton Vanko was a scientist for the Soviet Union and one of the world's leading experts on electricity. Premier Paldu, the leader of the Soviet Union, tasked Vanko with devising a way to defeat Iron Man. Vanko created a powerful armored suit and Khrushchev dubbed him the Crimson Dynamo.

When Crimson Dynamo arrived in America he sabotaged a rocket test and fought Iron Man. Iron Man was quickly able to defeat Crimson Dynamo. Iron Man then hacked into Khrushchev's communications and Crimson Dynamo heard Paldu say that once Crimson Dynamo's mission is completed he would have him killed because he feared his power. After learning of Paldu's true intentions Vanko defected to the U.S. and began to work for Tony Stark.

Background

Crimson Dynamo was voiced by Henry Ramer.

The first version of the character outside the comics.

This version of Crimson Dynamo is based on Anton Vanko, the first Crimson Dynamo, who was more of an armored Electro rather than the "evil Iron Man" later Dynamos are known as (at the time of the series, that spot belonged to Titanium Man).
