The Allies for Peace were a group of mutants. They are lead by Professor X.

The Allies for Peace had to defend the Peace Building form an attack from various super-villains who had been sent by Doctor Doom. However, all the villains were defeated by the Allies for Peace. Doctor Doom then allied himself with Namor and had him go to the Peace Building and had him place an anti-gravity device inside of it. Doctor Doom then had the anti-gravity device lift the Peace Building into space. However, Namor turned against Doctor Doom and returned the Peace Building to Earth.

This is the first version of the X-Men outside the comics.
For some unknown reason the name X-Men was changed to Allies for Peace, though all other characters maintained their names.
They were originally going to be the Fantastic Four. However, at the time the rights to the Fantastic Four had been licensed to Hanna-Barbera Productions who were producing Fantastic Four which would premier the following year. So the X-Men were used in their place. Despite the change their appearances in The Marvel Super Heroes still retains several references to the Fantastic Four such as:
- Doctor Doom being their main enemy.
- The Peace Building being modeled after the Baxter Building.
