Africa is one of the seven continents on the planet Earth.
Africa contains a number of nations such as the Egypt and Wakanda.
History
In ancient times, a mutant emerged that became more powerful than any other. Calling himself Apocalypse he went dormant until modern times when he tried to take over the planet.
Wakanda, ruled by the Black Panther, is a powerful nation that has never been invaded.
The mutants Storm and Shadow King come from Africa. Charles Xavier defeated Shadow King and recruited Storm into the X-Men. She still goes back to the continent from time to time to visit her tribe.
The nation of Genosha is located just off the coast of the main African continent. The group claimed to be a haven for mutants but secretly kidnapped them into slavery. Cable and the X-Men eventually freed them all.
