Carl Creel, also known as Absorbing Man is a supervillain and a member of C.R.A.S.H.

He started a riot at the Vault along with the Wrecking Crew and fought Skaar and Hulk. He was shot down after he stole She-Hulk's aircraft. He absorbed gamma radiation and fought the agents of S.M.A.S.H. at their base. Eventually Skaar tricked him into absorbing the properties of a book and defeated him.

He eventually joined C.R.A.S.H. under the leadership of Leader.

He was eventually incarcerated in the Vault again, this time run by Abomination. He and Titania helped S.M.A.S.H. stop a bomb. He then helped discover that Leader had framed S.M.A.S.H. Afterwards, he was transferred to another prison with Titania and the Wrecking Crew.
