History

M.O.D.O.K. was accompanied by one of his A.I.M. operatives when he auditioned to be Bobby Drake's co-host on his talkshow ChillaXin' with Bobby Drake. ("There's No Business Like Snow Business")

From the A.I.M. Pirate Mothership near Boosaaso, Somalia, M.O.D.O.K. had his A.I.M. agents illegally download chick flicks. Being a federal crime, this caught the attention of Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. who sent a small strike force consisting of U.S. Agent, Howard the Duck, Ch'od, a Nick Fury LMD, and Punisher to stop him. The S.H.I.E.L.D. strike team captured M.O.D.O.K. and placed him in the high security prison called The Raft. ("The Problem With Pirates...")

M.O.D.O.K. along with some A.I.M. agents attended the San Diego Comic-Con. One A.I.M. agent who was in line to enter the comic-con witnessed as M.O.D.O.K. disintegrated Juggernaut with a laser. At the comic-con M.O.D.O.K. hosted a panel called Super-Villainy and You: Breaking into the World's Most Dangerous Profession. During the panel M.O.D.O.K. began to beat one of his agents and told the audience that by killing or injuring one henchman you insure the loyalty of others. Two A.I.M. agents were in charge of casting for the Astonishing X-Men motion comic. They auditioned several people for various roles but ended up casting M.O.D.O.K. as Emma Frost. However, when the two A.I.M. agents watched the finished motion comic with M.O.D.O.K.'s voice as Emma Frost, they decided that M.O.D.O.K. wasn't right and that they wanted to cast someone else for the role.
